There are some outstanding individual achievements in the GCSE results this year, with three candidates securing 11 A* grades (or 8/9 equivalent in English/English Lit), 10 pupils with 10 A* (or 8/9 equivalent in English/English Lit) and 26 pupils with at least nine grades at A or A*.

Norwich School are celebrating another strong year of GCSE results, with pupils achieving the highest number of A* grades (or 8/9 equivalent in English/English Literature) since 2013. Almost 75% of all grades awarded were at A*- A.

Norwich School pupils are celebrating another impressive set of A Level results, with almost a quarter of all grades at A* and 3/5 at A*- A. Many pupils have been successful in securing places on the most competitive courses at prestigious universities and the school is delighted by the variety of their chosen paths: from Engineering, Fashion, Law, Veterinary Science and Sports Science, to English, Product Design, Medicine and Textiles.

This morning saw pupils celebrate a fantastic set of results with some outstanding individual attainment. 14 pupils at Norwich School secured three A* grades or better. Well done to all on this fantastic achievement. Norwich School ensures that pupils are given a broad range of extracurricular opportunities, whether that be through sports, the arts and community service or leadership roles. Many of the pupils enjoying success today have an interesting story to tell!

Seven pupils have just returned from an unforgettable trip organised by the school to Borneo. Whilst on the month long adventure, pupils were immersed in the culture, learning the local language and traditional dances and crafts, helping each other through the mud and challenge of the jungle trek, and working together to complete community projects.

The YNSA, an initiative set up by Norwich School three years ago to provide expert advice and support to talented young athletes in Norfolk, is now accepting applications for their 17/18 programme. They are looking to hear from athletes aged 15-18 years-old who are ranked in the top 10 in their chosen sport with a proven record of performance or they represent their home country in a team sport.

Pupils Charlie Rogers and Harry Williams have been selected to play for Sussex County Cricket Club’s U16 team in a game against Hampshire U16s next week. Both players have been selected as a direct result of the cricket academy at Norwich School.

Norwich School pupils Charlie Rogers (U5R) and Harry Williams (M5N) have been selected to play for Sussex County Cricket Club’s U16 team in a game against Hampshire U16s next week. Both players have been selected as a direct result of the cricket academy which was launched in June as a partnership between Norwich School and Sussex County Cricket Club.
