Norwich School has just submitted to Norwich City Council its revised proposal for development of its Bishop’s Palace Lawn site in the Cathedral Close. The proposal responds to a pressing need for new dining and teaching facilities, together with landscaped outdoor spaces and improved access. It aims to deliver a high quality and visually appealing building that responds well to the important heritage of its surroundings.

On Saturday 4th July, Old Norvicensians gathered virtually to watch 'Global ON Day'. ONs were invited to grab a glass of fizz, take a seat, relax and watch the proceedings.

This weekend, 40 Norwich School runners took part in the Ekiden Virtual Marathon, a Marathon Distance Relay involving six stages of differing length.

This July, Norwich School once again hosted the University Summer School for Year 12 pupils from across Norfolk.

Norwich School Geography pupils finished the term by looking at Esri Story Maps which allow pupils to combine GIS maps with text and images to create digital content.

Against a field of other School Chess Clubs across the country, Norwich School played in an online Team Chess Battle (on the website lichess.com).

A group of our community-minded and enthusiastic Upper Sixth pupils have been helping senior members of our ON community during the pandemic through a volunteer contact scheme. They have offered a friendly phone call to ONs, centred around Norwich School life and shared experiences of school over the decades.

This year, our annual Arts Festival went virtual! Gather 20 Online saw a series of performance videos launched showcasing the artistic, musical, dance, drama and written word talent of pupils at school.
