The endlessly talented author and performer Dave Rudden came to Norwich School today to lead an exciting creative writing workshop for Upper Four pupils. Following an author talk, in which Dave spoke about his own experiences developing as a writer, offered advice, and read from one of the books in his Knights of the Borrowed Dark series, the entire year group became involved in planning a heist - on paper only of course.

Mock Trial Competitions give budding lawyers a chance to experience life inside a courtroom and provide a unique opportunity for pupils to learn about the criminal justice system straight from professionals. Working on cases specially written by professionals in the legal profession, pupils work together in teams of crown prosecutors, defence barristers or witnesses to gain a unique understanding of the justice system while developing employability skills such as teamwork, public speaking and verbal reasoning.
