This weekend, 40 Norwich School runners took part in the Ekiden Virtual Marathon, a Marathon Distance Relay involving six stages of differing length. Team members must choose to run a relay leg distance of either 1Mile - 2Mile - 4Mile - 5Mile - 6.2Mile - 8Miles to make up the Marathon distance.

Over 500 teams took part in the event with 10 teams from across Norwich School involved. 

A special mention must go to ON Robin Lawrence who, accompanied by his son Edwin, ran his route around Georgetown, on the Malaysian island of Penang, through parts of the Old Town and out to Penang Botanical Gardens where they finished the run with two killer laps up steep hills.
