Spotlight on Spanish: Imie James Extended Writing Piece

As part of Spotlight On Spanish week, today we share with you a written piece by Imie James, a M5 pupil studying Spanish.

Mrs Barber, her Spanish teacher, said:

"Imie James is doing extremely well and has received a distinction for her Spanish work. She recorded an IGCSE level presentation on herself and her family, school and home-town, reading a lovely piece of extended writing that she wrote as an extension piece. There were very few corrections, despite the complex level of Spanish. Well done, Imie! ¡Sobresaliente!"

Here is the piece of writing that Imie submitted:

¡Hola! Me llamo Imogen Fraya Gillian James. Mi cumpleaños es el treinta de enero. Tengo catorce años. Soy hija única, no tengo hermanos o hermanas.

¡Me mola!

¡Me encanta mi casa!

¡Me flipa mi colegio!
