Community Service: Riding for the Disabled

23rd January 2015

L6 pupil and photographer, Alix Carter, joined the Riding for the Disabled (RDA) community service group last week to photograph their work with the charity. The RDA use horses and ponies to provide therapy, achievement and enjoyment to people with disabilities.

"At Riding for the Disabled it was great to see my peers helping out the disabled children, and  having fun at the same time. I'm studying photography for A-level, so going along to take photographs during community service was great experience.

The highlight of the afternoon was one of the little girls galloping around the arena, to which everyone cheered.

The staff there dedicate a lot of time to RDA and are grateful of the help our school gives them."
