Mark's Story

Our Bursary Funding Campaign exists to ensure that we can continue to welcome talented and deserving pupils from all backgrounds, regardless of the ability to pay.

Senior School pupil Mark (not his real name) is able to attend Norwich School thanks to the generosity of our bursary donors. His parents explain just why this is so valuable to them:

"Mark is absolutely thriving at Norwich School – he loves it!

His confidence has grown massively and the friendships he’s establishing will last a lifetime.

He has particularly benefitted from the extended sports programme offered to sports scholars and has applied himself to everything offered within it. His academic standard has improved and he’s working hard towards his GCSEs where he is predicted to do very well.

We are so grateful for all the support we have received financially towards Mark’s education as our business has really suffered during the past two years due to Covid-19. We have had to make many staff redundant in order to stay afloat and taken significant measures to change the direction of our business to survive."

Stories like Mark's are only possible through the generous support of our community. Approximately 1 in 4 prospective pupils applying to Norwich School require some kind of financial assistance and we need your help to transform the lives of more young people in Norfolk.
