Bursary Funding Campaign: Alison's Story

ALISON'S STORY

Our Bursary Funding Campaign exists to ensure that we can continue to welcome talented and deserving pupils from all backgrounds, regardless of the ability to pay.

Alison (not her real name) joined Norwich School in the Sixth Form, a move made possible by bursary support. Her mother reflects on their experience at Norwich School so far:

"It’s hard to believe that Alison only started at Norwich School last September.

In those few months it feels like she has absolutely found her place and is thriving thanks to the quality of the teaching and all the extra-curricular activities, allowing her to explore her wider interests as well as her academic subjects.

It’s such a thrill for us to see her so happy at Norwich School and we express our heartfelt thanks to all the teachers and staff involved in her care and education, as well as the family’s gratitude to her generous sponsors who have made this possible."

Stories like Alison's are only possible through the generous support of bursary donors. Approximately 1 in 4 prospective pupils applying to Norwich School require some kind of financial assistance and we need your help to transform the lives of more young people in Norfolk.
