On 5th March 2020,  pupils and staff were delighted to celebrate World Book Day in the usual Lower School tradition. 

Pupils and staff dressed up as their favourite book character and had their chance to introduce their characters in assembly. There was a huge amount of creativity in the costumes, with characters ranging from Keith-the Cat with the Magic Hat, Percy Jackson, Lyra from the Northern Lights and even an inflatable dinosaur! 

World Book Day activities also continued in the library with the theme of  'Share a Million Stories'.  The target was to reach 1200 stories by the end of the week and a story-o-meter in the library recorded how many stories had been shared.
