Under a sheltering canopy from the glorious India Summer’s sun archaeological workshop literally delved into the past on our first week back.
The archaeological workshop set out to use hands-on artefacts to bring to life the idea that history is about stories brought to life through artefacts.
The pupils carefully unearthed a flint napping scene and a mummified body before moving onto recreate a human face using a skull and plasticene.
