The Natural History Club Fungi Forage at Felbrigg Hall

17 October 2017

On Saturday 14th October over 11 families joined Mr Worton on a fungi foray at Felbrigg Hall. Everyone had a fabulous day out, searching for fungi in the woods on a glorious autumn afternoon. The fungi was in abundance, and the club found 68 identified species, including a stinkhorn and parasol fungus.

Alongside searching for fungi, the club also enjoyed climbing trees, den building and searching for mini beasts. Our critter the day was the minotaur beetle.
