This week is the British Nutrition Foundation’s Healthy Eating Week which is all about ‘Finding your healthier you’. They are encouraging everyone to reflect on their lifestyles and look to make improvements to enhance their own health and wellbeing – particularly around what they eat and drink.
This week at the Lower School we have been helping our pupils make informed choices on the food and drink they consume. As well as receiving assemblies on healthy eating from our Catering team, each break time this week pupils will receive a different fruit or vegetable snack… Monday’s strawberries seemed to go down a treat!
Pupils have also received Personal Development lessons targeted at why it’s important to fuel our bodies well. Lower 2 to Upper 3 have been keeping food diaries which they then reflect on with the form tutor each day.
