Aztec Workshop Leaves Lower 3 Pupils Eager to Learn More

24 June 2024

In an exciting Lower 3 Aztec workshop day with Rozzy from Act Out Education,  the children explored Aztec culture through interactive activities. They acted out roles of various Aztec gods, delving into the rich mythology and significance of deities like Huitzilopochtli and Quetzalcoatl. A highlight was creating large, ornate headdresses, emphasising their importance in Aztec society. To wrap up the day, children carved their own soap, designing intricate patterns inspired by Aztec art, celebrating its cultural significance.

The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on learning experience.
