Pupils also got the chance to ask Isabelle questions about becoming an Author. Some of the questions pupils asked are written below, as well as the answers Isabelle gave.

What is your favourite book?

IK: Matilda, by Roald Dahl.

How many books have you written?

IK: I have written two books.

What company publishes your books?

IK: My publishers are The History Press.

How long does it take you to write your books?

IK: Once Upon a Time in Norfolk took around 7 months to write.

If you weren't a author what would you be?

IK: I would be an actress on the stage, or I'd work in a book shop - I love book shops!

What's the book you're writing about at the moment?

IK: I can't say, it's a secret!

Do you illustrate your own books and if not who does?

IK: John McKeever is the illustrator for my two books, we work together a lot.

If you could pick one of your books to buy, which one would you choose?

IK: I would choose the second one as it's about eight different museums, and I really enjoyed researching for it.
