Lower School news

With the end of term almost upon us, the Lower School Chamber Choir have been busy performing in the community...

It was certainly a bleak winter's day when our U3 pupils arrived at the workhouse for their trip to Gressenhall...

For our very special December Stay & Play, staff and pupils welcomed a VIP visitor to Reception.

With Christmas only a matter of days away and excitement mounting, Lower and Upper One attended the Follow the Star workshop at Norwich Cathedral.

With 1st December only a matter of days away, it certainly felt very festive on a cold wintry day in November, when our Reception and Lower 1 classes enjoyed a trip out to the Norwich Playhouse Theatre to watch The Gruffalo. 

Lower One were visited by Vet Mary de Las Casas last week to tell them all about her work as a vet with Chapelfield Veterinary Practice.

The cold, damp weather did not stop Lower 2 pupils from enthusiastically venturing outside to explore the Sainsbury Centre’s sculpture park last Friday! 

Great enjoyment was felt by all who attended the Michaelmas concert in St Andrew’s Hall. It was fantastic to be performing to an audience and the children were obviously very excited about it! 

As the Lower School Bee Keeping Club prepares to launch it's own Nor-bee-censian Honey at the Christmas fair in December, we hear from Jamie Kidd about other fun activities the pupils have enjoyed as part of Bee Keeping Club.

This November, the Lower School once again requested gifts to support the Benjamin Foundation Christmas Gift Appeal.

On 15 November, Lower School celebrated Odd Socks Day, which marks the beginning of Anti-Bullying Week.

Lower One had a fantastic afternoon meeting PC Holford and her Police dogs!

CameraKidz is back with a new News show! 

Our popular 'Sensational Science' workshops for primary school pupils are continuing, with Lower School teacher Mr Worton leading a weekly workshop called 'It's Not Rocket Science'. 

It is lovely to see the return of away days and residential trips for pupils throughout the School and last week it was the turn of our Upper 2!

Pupils have been wearing green to raise awareness for World Mental Health Day 2021.

Pupil-led club 'Camera Kidz' has released their weekly news bulletin. 

Dressed in their Tudor costumes, pupils enjoyed a full-on Tudor Day in the Lower School!

Pupils in Lower Three have been having fun in the sun at Norfolk Lakes in Lyng.  

Pupils supported Jeans for Genes day with a non-school uniform day, 'Silver Coin Challenge' and by making and selling lots of delicious cakes!
