Lower School news

Children from the Pre-Prep entertained their parents and others from the school community in their Nativity play which was held in the School Chapel this week.

The Reception class acted out the Christmas story and they were joined by Lower One and Upper One to help out with the singing. All pupils had  memorised 12 songs and did incredibly well to sing with actions and enthusiasm!

Norwich School pupils in Lower 1 are currently learning about transport through the ages. They had the chance to speak to real-life firefighters and find out more about what they do each day when the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service visited them on 4th December 2019.

Norwich Lower School skiers put in a fantastic performance at the ERSA regional Schools race on Sunday 12th May.

The Children's City of Literature is a joint programme between Norwich Lower School and the National Centre for Writing. This year the project involved pupils from Avenue Junior School, Catton Grove Primary School, Norwich Lower School, Sprowston Junior School and St William's Primary School.

The Lower School held a Lock-in and raised enough money for the charity Street Child to build a school in Sierra Leone.

Anna Lloyd from the charity Street Child visited Norwich Lower School to talk to the children about their work in Africa and Asia.

Hector and Reggie visited the Lower School on Wednesday 9th January along with their owner Victoria Haddon and walking companion Emma Robertson, both of whom are Norwich School parents.
