A Lower School team travelled to Felsted Prep School to compete in the semi-final following their successful heat in the East Anglia area heat held in February. The team came a creditable sixth, congratulations to all involved.

Pupils from the Lower School and four other local schools worked with the Writers’ Centre Norwich over eight weeks to launch their own book celebrating Norwich as the first city in England to be nominated as a UNESCO City of Literature.

On the final day of the Lent Term, the Lower School raised £231.40 for the Marie Curie charity by 'wearing something yellow'.

Norwich School entered 5 teams into the Eastern Region Snowsports Association Schools Championship event on an extremely busy day at Norfolk Snowsports Centre. Around 400 athletes attended the biggest ever ERSA Schools Race on a fine spring day.

On Sunday 2nd April, 54 staff, parents and pupils embarked on the Lower School Ski Trip 2017 to Bormio, Italy.

Congratulations to the School Choir and the Chamber Choir who were both awarded 'Outstanding' following their performances at the Norfolk County Music Festival. The Chamber Choir sang 'Linstead Market' and 'Catch me if you can', and the School Choir sang 'You've got to pick a pocket or two' and 'Will you go lassie go'.

Pupils at the Lower School celebrated World Book Day on the 2nd March by dressing up as a character from one of their favourite books. We had characters from a wide range of books which included wizards, the Mad Hatter, Mr Men and Where's Wally.

Alex Mitton visited the school to give an inspirational talk in assembly and a coaching session for some of the F3 boys.
