Nelson's Journey Youth Volunteers to Receive Queen's Award for Voluntary Service

A Lower Sixth pupil is to be recognised along with his fellow Nelson's Journey Youth Panel volunteers with a Queen's Award for Voluntary Service. 

L6 pupil Harvey Sillitoe has has been volunteering with Nelson's Journey, a Norfolk charity dedicated to providing support and opportunities for young people affected by bereavement. The Youth Panel meet every half term and discuss ideas for events, initiatives and activities. 

The group will be presented with their award by Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk Pippa Dannatt later this year and he group will also attend a garden party at Buckingham Palace next May.
