Girls Cricket teams begin the year with two strong performances

12 April 2017

Norwich School’s Girls cricket began the summer term with two strong performances at the Lady Taverners Norfolk schools competitions, held at UEA.

In the U15 competition Norwich School scored 90-5 to set Old Buckenham High 91 to win. After a tense few final overs the winning runs were scored with just off the fourth ball of the final over. It was a very closely fought game throughout and bodes well for the season ahead for the U15s.

In the U13 competition Norwich School dominated throughout, winning all five of their matches to retain the trophy they won last year. The U13 team will now head to the Regional Finals to be held in Leicester at the end of April as Norfolk Champions.
