Norfolk's U15 girls' squash team were recently crowned the national Inter-county Trophy champions, of which pupil Lucy Cox, M5, is part of.

Before half-term the school’s Under 16 sailing team won the Eric Twiname/ RYA Team Racing Championships for the first time in the school’s history. The team won 19 of their 20 races over the weekend.

Atilya Bussey (L5V) was part of the South Norfolk Pony Club showjumping team who competed at Burghley over the summer. The team had an incredible 2nd-place success, just missing out on the win through a pole in the jump-off.

This week Norfolk’s young cricket players came together for the annual Norfolk Youth Cricket dinner. The event celebrates the successes of the young cricket players who have represented Norfolk this summer.

During the first part of half-term, the school’s U16 sailing team took part in the RS Feva National Championships for the first time in its history. The prestigious event, held at Torquay on the south coast of England, involved 110 boats belonging to clubs and schools from around the country.

Joe Gatting, Cricket Professional at Norwich School and Swardeston CC vice-captain, put in a match winning performance this weekend as Swardeston kept pace in the hunt for the Gibbs Denley East Anglian Premier League title.

Norwich School teacher Mrs. Hill will compete in her third marathon during the October half-term, travelling all the way to Chicago, as part of her lifetime ambition to complete courses in six of the world’s biggest cities.
