'An astrophysicist and engineer Professor George has appeared on TV, presenting 'Hyper Evolution: 'Rise of the Robots' on BBC Four. The event at Norwich School Blake Studio, co-hosted by evolutionary biologist Dr Ben Garrod, will explore whether robots will enhance or threaten our lives.'

'From the old layout of Norwich to his sympathy for one of Norfolk's most famous rebels, fans of the best-selling author CJ Sansom have enjoyed a rare opportunity to hear the author talk about his latest novel.' 

'Fran Ellington's dream became a reality when construction and landscaping on the Grapes Hill Community Garden began in late 2010. Now, the gardens grow organic fruit, vegetables, herbs and ornamental shrubs and flowers to make a garden attractive to people and wildlife.' 

Norwich School organised a charity fashion show, as part of GATHER 18 Arts Festival, which was held at OPEN in July 2018. An annual event, it raised money for Break, the Norfolk children and young person's charity, under directorship of sixth form pupil Sophie Todd.

Norwich School pupil Brooke Elley is one of eight young singers across the nation who are competing for two spots to sing with the Philharmonic Orchestra and perform at prestigious events throughout 2019.

They hear from three speakers, Wendy Addison (pictured), Andy Fisher and Kimberley Morrison. Norwich School Green Group have been busy growing onions in the school allotment this half term, they grew so many that they could provide the school refectory with two bags full! 

Chris Parsons, Deputy Head (Academic) at Norwich Lower School was featured in the Autumn edition of Prep School magazine with his article about being a maverick teacher.

Former England fielding coach Richard Halsall was on hand to run an assessment day at Norwich School. 

Norwich Lower School pupils celebrated Harvest Festival by donating food to the Salvation Army. 

Author Paul Dowswell visited Norwich School in October. He gave a range of workshops including poetry talks, 1:1 tutorials and lessons. Heartsease Primary Academy, Magdalen Gates and Sewell Park schools were also invited to participate. 

Revd Corin Child, Chaplain of Norwich School and a Priest Vicar of Norwich Cathedral, writes in the EDP about the lessons you can learn from owning a allotment and how at harvest time there is much contentment in showing off your hand grown vegetables.

Norwich Lower School enjoyed a educational day with two people from the Stone Age, whilst the Senior School learnt about Charles Bonnet Syndrome and a new exhibition 'Seeing Things' which is currently exhibiting in the Crypt Gallery until October 13th. 

'I shall not waste time justifying the outreach work undertaken by independent schools. Helping the young and helping the disadvantaged have long been a Good Thing, especially when they are combined.'

Norwich School pupil Harry Paterson has been selected to be part of the England Boys White squad in hockey at the 2018 School Games. 

Norwich School pupil and talented singer Charlotte Pollard was awarded 141 marks out of 150 in her grade eight singing examination.

Norwich School pupil Amelia Barclay has been selected for the Mavericks squad competing in netball at the 2018 School Games at Loughborough University.

Matilda Ziegler, who starred as Donna Ludlow in Eastenders and Mr Bean's girlfriend Irma Gobb, re-opened the Oxfam shop on Magdalen Street, which had been closed for three weeks for refurbishment. 

Norwich School Lower School Deputy Head (academic) Christopher Parsons has written an article on the importance of instilling a love of reading in children.

Pupils at Norwich School with Lenny the Lower School Leveret has been decorated with flowers and wildlife that are indigenous to the Norfolk countryside. More than 160 leaping leveret sculptures have been decorated as part of the GoGoCreate education programme, sponsored by Pensthorpe Natural Park.
