An unprecedented collection of wildlife art called Sketch for Survival will go on view for the very first time at the school’s Crypt Gallery on World Rhino Day, from 10am on Friday 22 September, until 4pm on Saturday 23 September. The exhibition is free and open to members of the public.

School Chaplain Reverend Child is contributing to the ‘Opinion’ section of the EDP throughout the year, along with other members of the local clergy, with a ‘Thought for the Day’. His pieces will come from the perspective of a chaplain, as his first contribution demonstrates well, describing a Norwich School scene from our first day back after the summer holidays.

Norwich School is delighted to have again been featured in the Tatler Schools Guide 2018, released earlier this month. The guide features the top prep and public schools from across the country.

During the first part of half-term, the school’s U16 sailing team took part in the RS Feva National Championships for the first time in its history. The prestigious event, held at Torquay on the south coast of England, involved 110 boats belonging to clubs and schools from around the country.

From April 21st to 23rd, Norwich School hosted a unique event – the Norwich Model Arctic Council or NORMAC, which is the only conference of its kind at secondary school anywhere in the world.  For two-and-a-half days, pupils from schools across Norfolk, London and from as far afield as Bilbao, Spain, played the roles of diplomats attending the Arctic Council as part of an innovative experiential learning programme.
