Upcoming Save Britain's Heritage Exhibition by ON Gerard Stamp

23 May 2019

ON Gerard Stamp (64-72) will be supporting SAVE Britain’s Heritage through a new exhibition of paintings of endangered buildings. SAVE Britain's Heritage are an organisation who campaign publicly for endangered historic buildings.

The exhibition will coincide with the launch of the organisation's special 30th edition of its 'Buildings at Risk' catalogue for 2019/20: Don’t Leave Me This Way; which features over 100 forgotten buildings from across Britain. SAVE’s annual catalogue continues to be a must read for anyone interested in Britain's heritage and is an essential tool for prospective restorers.

Gerard is one of the country’s finest contemporary watercolourists, and his paintings for this exhibition powerfully capture the plight of all kinds of buildings at risk through neglect and disuse. The paintings will all be available to buy, with half of the proceeds going to support the work of SAVE in campaigning for these and other buildings.

The opening event and exhibition launch is happening on Tuesday 25th June at 6.30pm at The Gallery, 70 Cowcross Street, London, EC1M 6EJ. Drinks will be served on arrival.

RSVP is essential, Please register at https://bit.ly/2JAokHe

The exhibition is running from Monday 24th June to Friday 5th July. Viewing is by appointment - please contact the SAVE Office on 020 7253 3500, office@savebritainsheritage.org.
