ON Jess French recently appeared on BBC Look East to talk about Norfolk Day and wildlife.
Since leaving Norwich School, Jess has travelled the world, achieved a zoology degree and qualified as a vet. She has also presented a show for CBeebies, 'Minibeast Adventure with Jess', and written several books for children about animals. Her latest book, 'How to Help a Hedgehog and Protect a Polar Bear', is out in August.
Jess recently became a Children’s Ambassador for the Norfolk Wildlife Trust (NWT) and appeared on Look East alongside fellow NWT ambassador Ben Garrod for Norfolk Day (27th July). Jess is NWT's first ever Children's Ambassador, a position which aims to highlight the importance of children having access to nature.
