ON, former 1st XV Captain and current Leicester Tigers player Freddie Steward (09-19) has been selected in the full England Rugby squad for their summer training camp.
Eddie Jones has named a 34-player training squad as England begin preparations for their summer series. The squad will meet up at The Lensbury on Monday 14 June for a five-day training camp.
Following this week’s training camp, an updated squad will reconvene on Sunday 20 June, ahead of the England A fixture against Scotland A at Mattioli Woods Welford Road, Leicester.
This selection is the latest accolade for 20-year-old Freddie, who joined the Leicester Tigers as a full-back after leaving Norwich School in 2019. He was also selected for the England U20 squad for the 2020 Six Nations Championship in 2020.
