The vast majority of our pupils secure places at Russell Groups universities, recognised as the UK’s leading institutions. This is achieved by pupils being guided to the right GCSE and A level combinations in L5-U5 as well as detailed advice and support in the Sixth Form. We also have a good record for gaining Oxbridge places, a process which is overseen by the school’s Oxbridge coordinator.
Pupils are guided through their university application by an Advice Team which includes the Deputy Head and Head of Sixth Form, as well as the Head of Careers, UCAS and Further Education. Interview practice and university visits are all built into the sixth form programme which allows pupils to make their applications in good time and with some confidence.
