The sixth form is a separate yet integral part of the life of the school. The strong House system ensures that many pupils in the sixth form take on a role in mentoring junior members of the school. More formally there are opportunities to take on roles as House and School Prefects. Each tutorial group (consisting of approximately 20 pupils) is supported by two tutors, who play a vital role in guiding pupils through the sixth form as well as university applications. They meet every morning for registration at 8:35 as well as weekly, for a 45 minute Tutorial. This regular contact allows pupils and tutors to get to know each other quickly as well as providing a first point of contact between parents, pupils and staff. Other key members of staff, called the Advice Team, who will monitor a pupil's progress are: David Farr (Director of Studies); Craig Hooper (Head of Sixth Form); Victoria Fincham (Deputy Head of Sixth Form); William Croston (Head of Higher Education and Careers); Dr Antony Speca (Oxbridge and Independent Study Co-ordinator).
