Athletics is currently offered as a senior games option in the Trinity term, but there are competitions for pupils of all ages. During games sessions, we train at the UEA track, with full use of their excellent track and field facilities. The seniors compete in annual fixtures against Greshams, Wymondham and Langley. Juniors compete at the prep schools championships. Last year we had 2 national finalists, with Dominic Smith winning bronze in the U14 200m. Pupils of all ages compete in the Norwich Schools Championship, which is the first step on the road to the English Schools Championships, where last year Jonny Tomes came 6th in the intermediate javelin. To take part in any competition, you don’t need to do athletics as your games option. If you are interested in competing for the school, get in touch with Dr Richardson.
