If you want to try a new sport that is fun and provides the benefits of a physical activity as well as mental stimulation, then fencing is for you. It is usually described as a physical "game of chess." It takes strategy and quick reflexes.

Fencing has been thriving during the last few years thanks to excellent results in local, regional and national championships. It is an individual sport that can be played in teams and where girls can compete equally with boys.

During the games sessions, Andrew Sowerby, a professional coach with more than 25 years of experience, will teach you the basics and the techniques that will help you deceive your opponents. All beginners make progress very quickly and can take part in competitions fairly soon after the start. There is a choice of three weapons: foil, épée and sabre and all the equipment is provided by school.
