Netball is the major sport for girls in the Lent Term. We run 16 teams from fourth form through to seniors involving over 130 girls. The standard of netball is extremely high. This is a result of our superb coaching staff and the facilities we have available to us. Our club link is also strong and a healthy number of junior and senior girls play for local clubs such as Norfolk United and Thoroughbreds. In the past year alone, our strong club link has enabled us to produce a number of County satellite and academy players and one east region player.

The programme we run operates throughout both the Lower and Senior School and is aimed to improve the ability of each individual while giving the pupils the best experience of the sport as possible. Fixtures are generally held in blocks involving the majority of teams and ensuring that a large number of girls have the opportunity to represent Norwich School at all levels. Every match is played to the highest standard with particular emphasis placed upon a good standard of sportsmanship.

Particular success has been seen in all area and county tournaments, with five age groups winning their area tournament this year. Our U14 and U16 teams always perform strongly at the National Schools tournaments with our U14s getting through to the regional round held at Brentwood last year.
