Girls' Golf - Norfolk Schools' Competition
In the recent Norfolk Schools' competition, Gabby Masding played some impressive golf and picked up the Norfolk Schools' Handicap Cup.
Gabby, together with Rebecca Heeles represented the school in the Inter- Schools Challenge Bowl at Sunningdale Ladies Golf Club. The course was unusual in the fact that there were no par 5's and some long par 3's. Such courses do not favour the long hitters such as Rebecca but our girls played some impressive golf throughout the day. Schools participating included Millfield, Cranleigh, Epsom College, Feltonfleet, St. Catherines , The Misbourne School and Wycombe High School.
Rebecca picked up the 'silver teaspoon prize' for best score of the day, going round in 68.
