The 1st team kicked off the season with a victory over Langley, 16-14, but unfortunately lost by the narrowest of margins to Norwich High School, 10½-11½.

2nd team
Against Norwich High, the girls put in a spirited performance and did well to take the lead after the first innings by a rounder and a half; however, we took some unnecessary risks with our batting and despite a valiant effort in the field, went down 21½ - 23½ in an exciting finish.

Under 16
With several strong sportswomen in this team, the girls played tactically and cohesively in an exciting game against Langley in which we were losing 5–6 ½ at the end of the first innings. The girls replied positively and tightened up the fielding and we came back to win 18½-12½. Our conduct in this match reflected the hard work of the season and bodes well for a strong senior side next year.

Under 15A
The under 15s won all three of their games, beating The Perse, Norwich High and Framlingham College, scoring a total of 51½ rounders and conceding just 36. Despite not having many matches, the U15s have trained hard all year. A particular mention should go to Laura Bailey for her excellent fielding and Amy Campbell for her strong batting in all competitive fixtures.

Under 15B
The under 15Bs won 50% of matches played, ending the season with a triumphant win against Norwich High. A notable aspect of the team is their mutual trust and respect for one another, which undoubtedly has a positive effect on their performance. Notable players include Ella Higham, Emma Howell and Evie Hilyer for scoring some fantastic rounders in recent fixtures and Louise Roberts for her sterling work in the field.
Under 14A
The under 14 A team have had an unbeaten season. They kicked off the season with a dominant 21½-2 win over Langley and then went on to put in equally strong performances to beat Framlingham College and The Perse by convincing margins. The team scored a total of 59 rounders and conceded only 20½. The highlight of the term was winning the Area Tournament, beating Norwich High School in the final. Well done to all the girls involved.
Under 14B
The B team have also remained unbeaten this term with particularly strong results against Framlingham College and The Perse. The girls have worked consistently well as a team and their encouragement and support of each other is admirable. There have been stand out performances from every member of the team, and all should be really proud of both their performances and the progress they have made this term.
Under 13A
The under 13 A team had a successful season, winning 5 out of their 6 matches and coming runners up in the Norwich City Tournament in June. Sophie Wigglesworth ably captained the side and Anna Jolly was a fast and effective bowler. Hermione Buttery was a superb batter throughout much of the season. However a particular special mention goes to Alex Le Mesurier who has shown tremendous improvement this season and some superb fielding in our match against Gresham’s earned her a well-deserved player of the match nomination.

Under 13B
The under 13 B team were undefeated in the first half of term with excellent wins over The Perse, Woodbridge and Langley; however, they couldn’t keep up their winning form and went down by narrow margins to Gresham’s and Norwich High. Isabelle Ferguson and Amaka Elumogo were an unstoppable force at backstop and 1st post and Jemima Sanders ably captained the side and was a consistent bowler for the team.
Under 12A
The under 12 A team won five out of 6 matches this term. The girls started slowly with a narrow victory against Langley, but as the season progressed, the team got stronger and stronger and went on to win many of their fixtures by convincing margins. They should also be congratulated for winning the Area Tournament, beating Norwich High 5½-3 in the final. Special mentions go to Katie Cox and Ellie James for their excellent batting all term and Harriet Watts and Lauren Rowe for their dominant performances in the field.
