Times Spelling Bee Competition

Four of Lower 4’s top spellers, Olivia Begley, Sophie Bishop, Karan Garg, and Matthew Gaskins, travelled to Cambridge to compete in the semi-finals of the Times Spelling Bee competition. Although experiencing a difficult first round spelling independently, the team pulled together for the timed team spell-off and impressively achieved the second-highest score in the competition. The team finished mid-table overall, but pleasingly were the highest placed Norfolk school. Well done to all four spellers who represented Norwich School very well in their first experience of a national spelling competition.
