Cross-Country Club

The final league fixture for the Cross-Country Club took place on Thursday 24th March at RHS. Norwich put in a determined and uncompromising performance, which was need to win the league. In the senior race, Tom Gosling and Gabriel Wrenn came first and second by a huge margin. and in the inters race, Jonny Slater commanded the field, coming first. A particular mention should go to Rosie Wright (L5E) who has competed against Sixth Form girls all season with real grit.
Therefore Norwich retained the Senior Boys' trophy; Tom Gosling won the senior individual trophy; and Jonny Slater won the intermediate individual trophy.
This has been a hugely successful season for the club, which has combined some aggressive, technical running with the development of the intermediate and girls' teams. Thank you to all the staff and pupils who have run this year.
