Norwich School Intermediate Orchestra perform at The Dyers’ Schools’ Concert

Last night the Intermediate Orchestra represented Norwich School at the annual Dyers’ Schools’ Concert, held in the beautiful Southwark Cathedral, London. Norwich School was again joined by the three other Dyers sponsored schools: Archbishop Tenison’s School; Boutcher Primary School; and St. Saviour’s and St. Olave’s School.

The annual Deveson Music Prize took place yesterday in the school chapel, with varied and energetic performances throughout the day. Spectators were treated to a broad selection of pieces, by composers including Andrew Lloyd Weber and Mozart. The guest adjudicator was Michael Nicholas, who amongst other roles, spent 23 years in the post of Organist and Master of The Choristers at Norwich Cathedral.
