Legacies
Legacies play a vital part in the success of the School. If you intend to leave a legacy to Norwich School, or have already done so, it would be greatly appreciated if you could tell us of your decision. All those that choose to support the School in their will are invited into the 1096 Society.
The 1096 Society is named after the year when the education of pupils first began in what has now become Norwich School. The Society celebrates the positive impact of legacies on the lives of pupils at School. Members are invited to an annual lunch and receive a distinctive 1096 Society pin badge.
To mark the generosity of large bequests the School would be happy to name your bequest in such a way as to leave a lasting memorial. In order to help us ensure that we always honour your wishes we recommend that you contact the Development Office at the School or that you speak to a legal adviser. Your bequest should be directed to 'Norwich School', charity number 311280. Details on the different types of legacy are outlined in Making a will.
For further information on remembering Norwich School in your will contact Jody Dyer, Director of Development & Alumni Relations, telephone 01603 728 430 or email jdyer@norwich-school.org.uk
